Finishing this book left me with two kinds of feelings… Sad because all the brothers are paired up now … and satisfied as fuck because this book absolutely rocked!!!

I figured Captain’s book would be the best and Royce’s would disappoint me, but I am so happy to say that it blew me away instead!! This one os definitly my favorite out of all. And the two awesome main characters are the reason for that.

I loved Brielle, from the moment she stepped on page and Royce… wow what a dick, but I couldn’t help but love him. Even though Brielle took so much of his shit, it was so nice to read her toughts and know why she was so accepting of his behaviour. I think I have a girl crush going on.

Now unfortunatley I can not go into the plot at all… I would spoiler everything and especially with this series, it is a big no no. I would also advise all the sneaky spoiler readers (I am usually one of them), to just not do it. These books are so much more enjoyable, without any spoilers.

So you are all just gonna have to trust me when I say : “Read this freaking series!! Give it a go and see how you feel about it. I was intrigued with the first book, but by the second I was hooked.

Sure I had to suspend my disbelief a bit, but who freaking cares.. I don’t read book for the reality … I read them to escape reality 😉

I am gonna keep a close eye on Meagan Brandy and hopefully there will be more to come… soon.

I highly recommend this series.

I am definitely a Suzanne Wright fangirl and Khloe and Keenan’s book was one of the most anticipated books of 2020 for me. Did it deliver… well hell yeah it did!!!

Khloe has always been my favorite character in this series. Funny as hell though chick.. just how I like my heroines. And she stayed that way throughout the whole book. Keenan did surprise me a bit, however… In a good way that is. He was so much hotter and protective then I figured he would be. Damn these two were on fire!!!

Now I don’t want to give anything away plotwise, so you will just have to trust me when I say that this one was definitely worth the wait.

I also loved visiting with all my favorites again. Can’t wait for the next one in this series, but one thing is for sure… Suzanne always delivers !!!

I am a huge (HUGE) fan of the “Dream Man” series and the “Rock Chick” series. I have read and loved every single book. And so when I found out that Lottie was finally gonna get her happily ever after…and with one of Hawk’s commando’s too…I was tickled pink !!

I also found out that a “Kristen Ashley Novella” is just as long as most of the novels I normally read. There was nothing “short” about this story. Though, I can always so with some more …especially when it comes to the “Rock Chicks”.

For those of you who don’t know Lottie, (have you been living under a rock??) she is Jet’s (Rock Chock Resue) sister. She works as a stripper/dancer at Smithies and seeing all the Rock Chicks getting paired off, has left her kind of lonely.

That’s not the worst of her problems though, because it seems she’s got the attention of a creepy stalker. Smithie, being the awesome boss that he is, is not taking any chances and since asking the “Hot Bunch” for help is out of the question….Commando’s it is 😛

As one of Hawk’s commando’s,  Mo is assigned as Lottie’s 24/7 shadow until they can catch this creepy creeper. 

There is just one little problem…The chemistry between these two is through the roof. The UST could be cut with a knife !!! But MO is insisting on staying professional. He can’t protect her if he get’s distracted.

So there is only one thing they can do. Make sure they find this creep as soon as possible…before they both combust !!

I absolutely loved this (not so) short story. It really gave me old KA vibes. It also made me go back and do a “Rock Chick” and “Dream Man” re-read….again. 

I love how Lottie finally got her own Dream man…she really deserved it !!! 

I can’t wait for the new spin-off series…hopefully time flies 😉

I knew when I started reading the first page of the first book, Heartache & Hope, that I was gonna fall in love with this Duet. And I did…because I know myself and this is definitely one of my all-time favorite authors. If she would re-write the phonebook I would probably have to give it 5 stars and read it over and over again 😉 

Let me start out by saying that these books can not be read as stand alones. You need to read the first book before starting the second. Things won’t make much sense if you don’t.

The previous book left us with quite the cliffy and I was so happy when this one arrived on my kindle, because I had to know what would happen next. 

Now I am gonna keep this review very ague because if there is one thing I have learned from reading Jay McLean’s books, is that they are best enjoyed when you go into them blind. So I don’t want to spoil anyone’s enjoyment. 

All you really need to know is that you are in for some serious (teenage) angst, heartache, tears and most definitely love….Because that is the most profound emotion when it comes to this story…LOVE. 

We should all be so lucky and have a Connor in our lives. 

I have finished this Duet days ago and it is still on my mind. It definitely packs a punch and leaves you breathless. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It sure as hell deserved a spot on my “all-time favorites of 2019” list. 

Go and one-click you guys !!! You won’t be sorry !!

I absolutely adored every single page of this book, which isn’t a surprise really because this author is the writer of my “all time favorite” mf book “More than Forever“. Now as much as I loved this one…and believe me I did…I don’t think any couple will ever top Cam and Lucy in my eyes. That said… Ava and Connor came real freaking close !!

What I love most about opening a book by this author, is knowing I am gonna be hit with all the feels….in the best ways possible. 

Again she has managed to make me laugh, cry, swoon and curse…. I loved it !!!

I fell head over heels in love with not only Connor but Ava as well. Just like with “More than Forever”, I developed a little girl crush because if there is one thing this author excels at, it is writing female characters I absolutely adore !!!

Ava had such a tough life, but she was so strong and so mature for her age….not that she really had a choice…She also has a heart of gold.

She really deserves a Connor in her life and after the ending this book gave me…I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book !!!

I am definitely a Tijan fan and so, of course, I want to read every book she releases…I did not, however, expect to love this book so much, that from now on, Mason will have to share his number one spot. I absolutely adored Charlie and Reese !!!

From the moment I started reading, I was pulled in and I did an all-nighter so I could finish in one go. I loved it that much. Maybe it was the writing style…maybe it was the awesome characters or maybe it was the interesting storyline. It was probably all of those combined though

Now this book was pretty long, but for me…I could have done with even double the pages !!

Anyways, I love sports book, awesome heroes and quirky heroines, so I really hit the jackpot with this one 😉 I also love me some angst and emotion and I got that as well. 

How would you feel when your whole world is crumbling, but then, when you think you are at your lowest…you meet your idol and he turns out to be everything and so much more !!!

I have to admit that I don’t know crap about basketball, but I would definitely go to every game to cheer Reese on !! That man was fine…in every way 😉

It took me some time to get used to Charlie though. The questions felt a bit weird in the beginning, but once Reese started answering, I was actually hoping she would ask him more. 

These two were absolutely adorkable. This book was filled with heartache, laughter, steam, friendship and most of all…love !!

It shows that everyone deserves a second chance at love. It is definitely gonna end up on my “favorite MF reads of 2019” list. 

I highly recommend it to everyone.

When I saw the blurb for this book, I was immediately interested, and when I saw some of the early reviews from my friends on GR…I knew I had to read it as soon as possible! Of course, my lovely friends never lead me astray and so I have to admit that this book was absolutely awesome !!!

The second I started to read, I was pulled into the story and I didn’t put the book down until I was finished. I have never read a book by this author before, but I can tell you I will be going through all of them now because I really liked the writing style… The fact that this book has all my favorite tropes, was a big plus as well 😉

I also love books that take place in highschool or college….takes me back and makes me feel a bit young again

Hailee is senior in high school and she can’t wait to finish this last year, and finally get away from Rixon and especially from Jase…Rixon’s very own QP and Hailee’s tormentor aka stepbrother. Now don’t go getting this wrong because this is NOT a stepsibling romance. These two really do hate each other’s guts and especially Jase takes his bullying to the extreme. But with Jase also comes his minions…Asher and Cameron.

Cameron who once was almost Hailee’s friend, but who turned out to be just as bad as her stepbrother….or is he ???

I loved the whole enemies to lovers theme, but I also loved the friendships and the dynamics between all characters. So curious how everything is gonna turn out. Hailee and Cameron were definitely made for each other…I am actually a bit jealous of Cameron because Hailee is pretty awesome if I say so myself. Just how I like my heroines.

I loved this book so hard !! I am sure it is gonna end up on my “Top 10 Reads” list of 2019. That said, we will be getting more books so who knows how many are gonna end up on that list. I have a feeling Jase’s book is gonna be pretty interesting. I am a HUGE fan of redeemable assholes and he is the perfect specimen for that trope.

I can’t wait…I need MORE !! Right now, please !!!!!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go through all this author’s books 😛

This is the second installment in the Regret Duet and after Aly left us with a major cliffhanger in the last book… I needed this one like my life depended on it.

Thankfully the wait between these two books is not too long…and it was most definitely worth it.

This book opens exactly where the last one left us and so we are thrown right in the middle of the storm… I was on the edge of my seat, and I pretty much stayed there until I reached the end. Now I need a drink(s) !!! This was intense but in the best damn way !!

Twists and turns were coming from every single angle and I am utterly exhausted. This Duet is definitely going on my “top reads of 2019” list, that’s for sure.
