Even though I have pledged my undying love to Hollis 7e6c22cc4c29adb0f4a619d0806b71f1 (don’t worry my lovely, I won’t cheat)… I have to admit that Rowe and Noah are definitely my favorite couple. I just love the way they love each other and how they just grab life by the balls !!

grab life by the balls gif - Google zoeken

When I first started this series I never would have expected them to turn out as my favorite pairing, but their book is definitely the one I re-read the most. Now I have this one to add to that, and let me tell you: it is awesome !!!

It has been a couple of years since Rowe pulled his head out of his ass and realized he was head over heels in love with Noah.  He still very much is and Noah loves him back just as much.

QNvsOQb.jpg (182×276)

No relationship is perfect though, and insecurities are just a step around the corner.  But when Noah is personally threatened, and a piece of his past shows up in their lives…there is no room or time for doubt.

Soon bullets and code names are flying and these boys once again show, how well they “perform” under pressure fcc37b1805a49c13a3f7d3d50b64ed47 Thank god for duct-tape 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659

These two definitely still burn the sheets together !!!

I had an awesome time reading this one and I was extremely satisfied (hehehe) when I reached the end !!

Can’t wait for Hollis and Ian’s book. Though I would be very pleased if Jocelynn and Rinda could set JB up with a HEA of his ownfcc37b1805a49c13a3f7d3d50b64ed47 How about it ladies ???

Noah smiled to himself as he watched Rowe drive them home. His hands slid easily along the leather wheel. Soon those strong hands would be stroking down his body. The way the man kept looking at him during the wedding had him half-hard all evening. He knew it was the wedding—all the romance in the air.

A lingering worry had nipped at him earlier in the day that Ian’s wedding would bring back painful memories of Rowe’s own wedding, but he seemed fine and Noah couldn’t be more thankful.

So, he watched those hands. Being touched by Rowe was like nothing else in this world. The man worshiped his body with an all-in intensity that frankly awed Noah. And he knew that wouldn’t change, no matter how long they were together. He took in his dark-red hair, lit by moonlight, disheveled as usual, and his ripped shoulders and arms. The man filled out a suit well, but he couldn’t wait to peel him out of it.

“Keep staring at me like that, and I’ll be finding a secluded spot to pull over,” Rowe murmured, giving him a steamy look.

“That’d be fine with me. Did I tell you how hot you are today? You should wear suits more often.”

“Soon as we get home, I’ll show you my birthday suit.”

“That’s my favorite suit of all.” Noah grinned.

Rowe pulled to a stop at a red light and turned toward him, his green-eyed gaze hotter than the sun. “You clean up nice yourself. Come here.”

Noah leaned over to kiss him. Brakes squealed sharply. Noah jerked his lips away from Rowe’s before they could touch. A car had pulled up, perpendicular to theirs, in the middle of the intersection. A loud bang quickly followed and the ping of glass breaking. Startled, he looked at the windshield to find a small hole in it.

“Shit, get down!” Rowe grabbed him and shoved him into the seat, covering him with his body just as another shot broke through the windshield.

“Someone is fucking shooting at us!” Rowe stretched over him to reach the glove box where he kept his gun. He yanked it out but stayed down. “Are you hurt?”

Noah couldn’t believe the man covered him, but that was Rowe. “No, I’m fine. You?”

“I’m good.”

Tires squealed again and the roar of the car engine grew softer. A knock on the driver’s window had them both jerking upright. Rowe aimed the gun in that direction, ready to put two in whoever was stupid enough to be standing there. Noah rose, ready to jump out of their truck and attack.

The woman outside screamed and ducked away from the window. “I was just making sure you were all right!” she yelled, and Rowe immediately lowered his gun. “The person shooting drove off, but I got a good look at the car. I’m beside you at the stoplight. The driver just pulled right into the intersection and someone shot out of the front passenger window. Is everyone okay? I called 9-1-1.”

Noah looked out the windshield to find the first hole directly in front of him. He turned and found a matching bullet hole in the seat. It would have pierced his heart. Whoever shot at them had one hell of an aim. Or at least, they would have if Noah hadn’t leaned over to kiss Rowe at that moment. Holy fuck, that was close!

His stomach was in knots as he met his boyfriend’s gaze. “What the hell?”

Rowe rolled down his window, apologizing to the woman for scaring her. “What kind of car was it?”

“A black Volkswagen hatchback.”

“Did you see anyone in the car? Could you tell if either person was a man or woman?”

“The passenger looked like a man. I’m sorry, I didn’t get a good look at the person’s face.”

Sirens sounded in the distance, getting steadily closer. Rowe put his gun back into the glovebox and they both got out of the truck to look at the damage. Two police cars arrived with a roar of engines. The first cop opened his door and stood with his gun at the ready.

“The shooter drove away,” the woman yelled. She was certainly helpful and brave to have gotten out of her car at all. Her red Honda was still parked at the light beside them with several more cars stalled there as well. None of those people had gotten out of their vehicles, but now they did as the police gathered.

Rowe and Noah answered questions but because they’d ducked, they had less to offer by way of explanation than the woman who’d witnessed the whole thing.

“Was more than likely a drive-by,” one of the cops said as he made a few notes in his little notepad. “We’ve had a few of them recently. I’m glad nobody was hurt this time. The others weren’t so lucky.”

But Noah had a feeling it wasn’t some random drive-by.

Two roommates. One calculus exam. A whole lot of extracurricular activity.

Nate
Living with four other guys, it’s bound to happen.
Every guy’s been caught taking care of business at least once, right?
It shouldn’t be a big deal.

But I don’t know Eric as well as my other roommates, and things are a little awkward now.
He’s a loner. A mystery. Quietly confident. Smart.
Sexy as hell.

I’ve been happily subsisting on the typical frat guy diet of booze and sorority girls.
But the way Eric looked at me that night?
There was something there.
Something that’s got me curious.
Something that’s stirring up feelings I thought I’d left behind for good.

Something that’s making me think I’m not as straight as I thought was.

I can’t get him off of my mind.
I don’t think I want to.

So when he offers to help me study for a midterm I’m convinced I’m going to fail, I take him up on it.
It’s innocent.
Probably. Maybe.

There’s no way I could’ve known what it’d start…

This is a super steamy standalone new adult/college mm romance with HEA that unfolds across six “episodes” following Nate and Eric. Now bundled up in one collection with a bonus episode for a seamless reading experience.

When I read the blurb for this book, I just knew I HAD to read it. I mean come one… two hot and horny college roommates… some studying… Yeah, count me in !!! Just throw in some popcorn as well 😉

I'm down gif - Google zoeken

This book started out as 6 free episodes provided by the author in her newsletter and on her website. I, however, haven’t read any of them before and I am glad I didn’t because I now got to read them all bundled up in one go. Which I really enjoyed…even though my ereader almost caught on fire, it was damn HOT.

ipad on fire gif - Google zoeken

Eric and Nate are college roommates, together with a couple of more guys. They are not really friends. They both go their own way and don’t interact a whole lot. But that is all about the change when Eric catches Nate in the most uncomfortable position a guy can be caught in. With his hands on his dick and a finger up his ass 😛

13c53da6909d1d21ace9da9ed45dcd5b.gif (500×244)

The entire book is told from Nate’s pov and it soon becomes very clear that frat-boy isn’t as straight as he pretends to be. Besides some little events in the past…being caught by Eric turns him on something fierce… so maybe this is something he can explore ??

Eric sure as hell is game, he has always identified as bi-sexual and he loves getting his hands on Nate and bossing him around. Wow, he had a dirty mouth on him…

speech_marks_left_red (4)rYeahhhh. Shit that’s good. Lap it up. Get me all wet ’cause I’m coming for that ass in a second.speech_marks_left_red (4)r4

scared-and-horny.gif (480×183)

I gotta say, there is a lot of sex in this book and I do mean a LOT !! I didn’t mind though, because it was very very hot and even though they do spend most of their time together between the sheets…or against the wall…they do get to know each other. I did witness their feelings for one another grow.

I could have done with a bit more interaction outside of the bedroom…but that is because I was also curious about the background characters. I am kind of hoping they will get their own story eventually…especially Mark and Jesse.

There wasn’t a lot of angst in this one. No real push and pull either. Just two guys going at it like rabbits and falling in love in the process…

I loved it, and if you are a fan of reading fluffy, funny sweet and extremely HOT gay sex, then you should really give this one a go !!

EXCERPT

“You all right?”

“Yeah, stressed, as usual.”

“Calculus? I can help.”

“Nope, philosophy this time.”

He wrinkled his nose in sympathy, then laced his fingers behind his head. I turned my focus back to the page I was reading, then realized I’d read the same sentence three times in a row. I could feel him watching me, and when I turned my head to check, I was right. His gaze trickled down from the crown of my head to my lap, slow as a drop of water down the glass of the window behind me. My cock jumped in my pants, and I shifted my legs restlessly. The thing needed a leash.

“You want some stress relief?” he offered.

No. It was on the tip of my tongue to say it, because I was frustrated by the whole situation, but fuck, the way he was sitting there so casually, his legs sprawled, his thickening cock starting to push at his fly… I inhaled deeply through my nose, and as I exhaled, found myself saying, “Like what?”

“Not sure yet,” he mused, posture straightening. He moved to the edge of his seat, scooting his chair in closer so he was right next to me, and even though I kind of knew what was coming, I still flinched when he laid his hand over the top of my thigh.

“Not right here,” I said, lowering my voice. But fuck if I didn’t widen my legs in the same breath, a taboo thrill running through me at being in public. Shit, regardless of Eric, I was starting to think I really did have a thing for being watched—or the threat of getting caught, at least.

Eric palmed my crotch, spreading his fingers over the bulge in my gym shorts. His warmth seeped through the silky mesh fabric and woke my cock right the fuck up.

I glanced around. There was no one to either side of us, and behind me was just a bank of windows that looked over the main quad below. But there were a trio of heads in the carrels across from me. I could hear them when they whispered or turned a page in their books, and I had to muffle a growl when Eric tucked his hand behind the waistband of my shorts, grazing his fingertips over my swollen head.

“No?” It was practically a purr, and it rolled over my skin like warm oil and flooded me with furiously spreading heat that tightened my balls.

He took my silence for the assent it was, and I clamped my lower lip between my teeth as he wedged his hand deeper into my shorts and wrapped it around the base of my cock, giving it a sharp, pulsing squeeze that made me suck in a breath.

“Freeballing?”

“Yeah,” I stuttered out, my dick jumping in his hand as he squeezed again.

“Good deal.” He gave me a few light, feathery strokes that had my hips surging up into the contact, and then his hand tightened like a vice around my shaft, thumb tracing my head in a tantalizing sweep as he leaned in. His whisper washed over me like pure, searing desert heat, the ownership in it shooting straight to my core and making me dizzy. “I want that nut you’re working up right now.”

“Fuck,” I hissed so loud that when I glanced up, I could see the person in the carrel across from me trying to subtly peer over the divider.

I hunched over my desktop to conceal the view of Eric’s hand as it plunged deeper, scooping up my balls and kneading them.

“That sounded like a yes to me.”

“Not here,” I whispered again and yanked his hand from my pants. Even though by then, shit, I was definitely seeing the appeal in letting him get me off right there. But I knew I wouldn’t be able to stay quiet enough, and though the thrill of possibly getting caught was hot, the reality of a charge for public indecency was not. I needed some ninja skills for that, or a lot more experience, and the whole novelty of getting off with a dude who knew what the hell he was doing was still so keen-edged that I didn’t have a shot.

“Spoilsport. I was enjoying the challenge, but I guess you’re right.” Eric picked up his sucker again, stuffing the wrapper in his back pocket. “You’re a noisy fucker, so maybe a little more buffer is a good idea. Come on.”

Gideon Ramsay is so far in the closet he should be a talking faun.

A talented, mercurial, and often selfish man, Gideon has everything he should want in life. Fame, money, acting awards – he has it all. Everything but honesty. At the advice of his agent, Gideon has concealed his sexuality for years. But it’s starting to get harder to hide, and his increasingly wild behaviour is threatening to destroy his career.

Then he’s laid low by a serious illness and into his life comes Eli Jones. Eli is everything that Gideon can’t understand. He’s sunny tempered, friendly, and optimistic. Even worse, he’s unaffected by grumpiness and sarcasm, which forms ninety percent of Gideon’s body weight. And now Gideon is trapped with him without any recourse to the drugs and alcohol that have previously eased his way through awkward situations.

However, as Gideon gets to know the other man, he finds himself wildly attracted to his lazy smiles and warm, scruffy charm that seem to fill a hole inside Gideon that’s been empty for a long time. Will he give in to this incomprehensible attraction when it could mean the end of everything that he’s worked for?

From the bestselling author of the Mixed Messages series comes a story about a man who needs to realize that being true to yourself is really just a form of finding home.

This is the third book in the Finding Home series but it can be read as a standalone.

Wow…I really loved this book. I might even love it a smidge more than “Oz“, which is saying something because I really liked Oz a lot. Gideon though, he rocked my world and so did his love interest Eli. They were absolutely awesome together. I laughed my ass off, fanned myself when things got hot, and I even cried some little tears. Sounds perfect right !!

https://www.google.com/search?q=awesome gif

Let me start out by saying that unlike a lot of others, I didn’t blame Gideon for his behavior in “Milo“. For me, it was actually the other way around and I blamed (and maybe I still do) Milo for taking what was not his to take. I don’t that it was just a “friends with benefits” deal between Niall and Gideon… There is an unwritten rule… you don’t go where your sibling has gone and Gideon was there first so…

So I went into this book completely open. I had no grudge against Gideon and I was sure, that even though his behavior was a tad bit harsh, he had his reasons… and boy does he. He actually made me feel even sorrier for him… I knew there was a reason I loved him from the start 😉

https://www.google.com/search?q=you are wonderful gif

Gideon is not in the best of places when this book opens, and you will get to know exactly why. I felt a bit heartbroken about his sadness. Thankfully he is not alone and even though Milo and Niall are not my favorites, they do love Gideon and they do want what is best for him. His manager Frankie, however, is a real piece of work. I don’t really have any nice words to say about him. He is responsible for introducing Gideon to the best thing to ever happen to him though… Eli !!

Eli was absolutely wonderful. I loved every single thing about him. He reminded me of Oz so much but for some reason… I loved him even more..can you believe that !!??

Eli is a nurse hired to look after Gideon on his way back to Engeland and to “keep him away from coke and twinks” …quoting Milo here 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659

Eli was absolutely perfect for Gideon. He brought light back into his life and Gideon finally just got to be… I think the best part of this book was watching Gideon grow and coming into himself

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2274927992829701

This author has once again blown me away and I can’t wait for more !!

Highly recommended 😉

EXCERPT

“Round the block?” he intones in a gloomy voice.

I nod. “Yes, please.”

The car moves off slowly. He examines my face in the mirror. “You okay, sir?”

I look up, surprised. “Of course,” I say abruptly. Then I ask, “Why?”

He shrugs, returning his attention to the road. “You don’t look so good, Mr Ramsay.”

“Oh Russ, you old charmer, you,” I drawl, slugging some more tequila. “What’s with the ‘sir’ and ‘Mr Ramsay’ business anyway?”

He ignores the question. He’s more passive-aggressive than Taylor Swift. “You haven’t eaten properly for a few days now,” he says instead in a concerned voice.

“I have eaten,” I say crossly.

“Tequila and vodka aren’t any of the major food groups.”

I shrug. “I had a Pop-Tart this morning.”

“You had that yesterday and very charmingly regurgitated it into a jasmine bush earlier on.”

“I’m fine,” I say dismissively.

“I surely hope you are,” he says wryly. “Because you’ve got your hands full tonight.”

I shake my head, thinking of the two men I’m about to get into bed with and looking down at my very disinterested cock. “Russ, you’d need a medium and a séance to bring my dick back to life tonight.”

He laughs loudly and then sobers. “Maybe you should call it a night then. Go to bed on your own for a change, sir.”

“Okay, Nanny McPhee. And maybe I’d be better with a box of tissues and a wi-fi connection.” I sigh. “Actually, that sounds a lot quieter.” I stare blearily at the back of his grey head. “I hope you also know that tagging the word sir on the end of a sentence doesn’t make it any less bossy.”

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Corey Ellis sure doesn’t. Oh, everyone around him seems to have found their happy ending, but he’s far too busy to worry about such things. He’ll have plenty of time for romance after he survives his last summer before graduation. So what if he can’t get his former professor, Jeremy Olsen, out of his head? It’s just hero worship. And that’s the way it should stay.

Except that this summer, bigender Corey—aka Kori—is interning at Phoenix House, a LGBTQI youth center that recently hired an interim director. And because life is extraordinarily unfair, the director just so happens to be a certain former professor, now current boss.

Desperate to keep things professional as he and Jeremy grow closer, Corey makes a major mistake: he turns to his friends, Paul Auster and Sanford Stewart, for help.

But Paul and Sandy have some ideas of their own.

Set in the summer of 2016, Why We Fight is a celebration of queer life and being true to oneself… no matter the cost.

This is the fourth book in the “At First Sight” series and I have loved each and every single one. They make me so freaking happy !!!! Now I first fell deeply in love with Corey/Kori when I first met them in “The Art of Breathing“, and I am so glad I finally got to read their story….and what a great story it was fcc37b1805a49c13a3f7d3d50b64ed47

awesome story gif - Google zoeken

Corey/Kori is bigender and biracial, which unfortunately means that life hasn’t always been the easiest for them. That said…I think they turned out pretty awesome. I love seeing that they weren’t too bitter about what happened in the past.

Apparently, Corey/Kori have been crushing on their former college professor Jeremy Olsen, who turned out to be Robert’s son (Charlie’s man). And guess who is gonna be his temporary boss for his summer job at the LGBTQ center ?? That’s right…Jeremy 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659

How will Corey/Kori ever be able to work under him (pun intended). They are sure that Jeremy doesn’t feel the same, but when they are proven wrong, how will they keep their hands off each other and stay professional.

With Paul and Sandy’s noses all up in their business things are bound to get weird…and crazy funny. I especially loved the parts with “Johnny Depp” in them !!

funny parrot gif - Google zoeken

I absolutely laughed my ass off reading this one, though there were also times when I got a bit choked up. No Wookie Cry Face though…

I could have done with a bit more Ty, since he is still one of my faves, but hey we can’t always get everything we want.

As all good things go, this series has come to an end and I have a bit of a double feeling about that. I love how they all got their stories and their HEA, but I don’t know if I am ready to say goodbye.

Thank god for re-reads !!!

I am a huge Eli Easton fan, and so I have read and loved plenty of her books, with Five Dares, being my favorite so far. Now I may be one of the few people who actually does enjoy reading about kids in my romance books. Most of the time the little brats are funny as hell and they are wonderful tension breakers 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659So yeah, saying I was excited about this one, is putting it mildly.

I can gladly say that I was not disappointed !! This book was awesome…as were the kids fcc37b1805a49c13a3f7d3d50b64ed47 What made it even more fun for me was the fact that my son is named Jayden as well…and so I had no choice but to love him 7e6c22cc4c29adb0f4a619d0806b71f1

Now this book is all sorts of cute and sweet….and lets not forget HOT.

I had the best of time reading it and I did most of it with a huge smile on my face.

Geo was really trying to be a great dad to his new foster kids and I admired the hell out of him for doing so. There was a small misunderstanding between Geo and Travis in the beginning but thankfully things got resolved pretty quickly. There is some angst in this one…be it small mostly revolving around Travis’ sexuality.

I really needed something light and sweet after reading some very heavy books and this one definitely delivered. I can’t wait to see what’s next 😉

Highly recommended !!

Excerpt

Sixth inning. Geo was ready for the game to be over. It was fucking hot on the ball field, all open and exposed, the sun baking down. And he was also not sure how much more Travis-watching he could take—him with his silky burgundy gym shorts and a sweaty Camp Evermore green shirt stretched over those muscles. His long legs were tanned and well-defined from hours at the gym.

Those thighs could fucking crack walnuts. Dude.

Damn, but that was one fine-looking man. Geo knew he should lay off, though. Travis had made himself clear.

Only he hadn’t. At all. One minute, Travis seemed into him him. He sought out Geo’s company, like the way he kept coming by the cabin at night. And the next minute, he’d put distance between them, ignoring Geo or closing himself off behind a granite-like expression and those eye-hiding shades. And Travis had laid a clear line in the sand. Not at camp. Not gonna happen.

Yup. That was fine. Sure, Geo hadn’t been mutually attracted to a guy that hot in ages. Or ever, really. But Geo hadn’t come to camp to fool around. He had other priorities.

It did make him wonder though. Bridget had said Travis wasn’t out. A quick Google search last night had confirmed that. In fact, Geo had been shocked to discover there’d never been an out baseball player in the major leagues. Like, in the history of American baseball. Which was tragic. No wonder Travis was in the closet. It had to suck monkey balls living like that. Especially with all the women who threw themselves at him constantly. There were a dozen women on the sidelines right now that looked ready to have his babies. That had to be weird for a gay guy. Didn’t it?

Geo himself was always super uncomfortable when women came on to him. He felt compelled to blurt out “I’m gay!” in the first five minutes. It was just too weird otherwise.

Then again, Travis’s love life was none of Geo’s business. Maybe the guy was bisexual. Maybe he liked dating women just fine.

Jayden came up to bat. Geo focused on his son, clapping hard. “Come on, Jayden! You’ve got this!”

Jayden took a wide stance beside the plate, both hands gripping the bat, choked up a little. Travis had spent a few minutes with Jayden at the start of the game, showing him how to stand, and Jayden copied him exactly. The kid was a great mimic. He’d been nervous at first, tense and defensive. But by now he just looked focused. He stared, narrow-eyed, at Frank as Frank pitched an easy ball.

Geo loved that about this game, that everyone tried to give the kids easy wins, and no one took the competition seriously.

Jayden hit the ball hard. It flew through the air a short ways then plonked to the ground and skipped along fast. It was heading right down the center line, though a bit more towards third base and Travis’s side of the field.

“Go Jayden! Go!” Geo shouted. He went after the ball. In his peripheral vision, he saw Jayden round first base and keep running.

Travis was going after the ball too, dodging low. He scooped it up. He was going to throw it to third base, keep Jayden back on second. Geo couldn’t let that happen.

He dove in front of Travis, crowding him, holding an arm out to block Travis from throwing the ball.

Travis snorted, bemused. “What are you doing? You’re on my team.” He backed up, trying to get away from Geo.

“Blood before bros, man,” Geo said with fake seriousness. He kept up with Travis, step for step, grabbing Travis’s right arm in a firm grip so he couldn’t raise the ball.

“Stop it!” Travis laughed. “Dork. That’s not legal.”

“Don’t care.”

They took three steps back, like they were dancing. Geo held Travis’s right arm, staring him down. Travis met his gaze, a goofy smile on his lips. Back and back they stumbled. Suddenly, Travis got a sparkle in his eyes. He wrapped his left arm around Geo’s waist and picked him up, swinging him around so he ended up behind Travis.

Geo was still finding his feet as Travis drew back his arm and sent the ball sailing.

Right to home plate. But Jayden got there first. Umpire Cindy made the motion with her hands, safe.

Geo laughed and raised his arms in triumph. “Yeah, baby! Great job, Jayden! Home run, whoo!”

Then he realized everyone was staring at them. On the sidelines, there were a dozen cameras raised, filming.

Oh. Er. Hmm. Geo wiped his face, feeling sheepish.

That’s when a piercing scream rent the air.

6766330 Synopsis

𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫:

When Talon left to play pro ball six years ago, the hole in my chest confused me. I focused my heartache into making my own NFL dreams come true, and by the time I was drafted, the longing I had for my best friend was buried deep.

Now he wants everything to be like it was in college, but we can’t have threesomes and be reckless like we once were. The media storm would be enough to break both our careers.

That’s not my biggest concern though. The torch I had for him burns brighter after so long apart, and there’s nothing I can do about it. Marcus Talon is straight.

I need to stay away from him.

𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧:

Years ago, Miller and I made a pact that we’d win a Super Bowl together. When I’m offered a position on his team in Chicago, I don’t hesitate. I move across the country to chase a dream that’s a decade old.

Only, now that I’m here, he’s avoiding me every chance he gets. If he was anyone else, I’d cut my losses.

But this is Shane Miller—the guy who makes everything better just by existing in my universe. The guy I’d do anything for. The guy who’s more to me than a brother, a friend, or even a teammate.

I’m not going to let him get away.

I have enjoyed all the books in the “Fake Boyfriend” series, and while I can’t wait to get to Jet’s book, I really liked  Marcus Talon and Shane Miller’s story. Eden explained, that even though these two don’t fit the whole “fake boyfriend” trope…they wouldn’t shut up,  so she had to write their story. I for one am glad they didn’t.

Talon and Miller have been best friends since they met in college. They share a great love for Football….but that’s not all they share. They also love to share women 😉 Well..at least Talon does. Miller is more in it because he gets to be close to Talon this way, even if there is no touching between them.

no touching gif - Google zoeken

After being drafted, they fell out of touch, but now 6 years later, and Talon is joining Miller’s team. Old habits die hard and it doesn’t take them long to fall in bed together again…with two women between them… Miller’s crush comes back with a vengeance, and what is a man to do, when he is lusting after his straight best friend….avoid him at all cost !!!

Too bad Talon is not one to be ignored. Especially, since walking in on some “sexy times” between Jackson and Noah, has stirred some deep feelings within Talon. Feelings he would like to test on Miller….in the bedroom.

And boy do they !! These boys were HOT together. I loved how they explored each other. They did not just fall into bed together, but they let their lust burn a bit, so sexy!

gay caressing gif - Google zoeken

Now as much as I enjoyed this story, I didn’t love it as much as the previous book. Reason for that being Miller. I found him to be a bit on the whiny side. He kept pining and pining after Talon, but when push finally came to shove, he pushed away…hard. He was being so difficult and I just didn’t get it. I don’t think Talon gave him any reason for the whole push and pull deal !! Thankfully Talon was so awesome, he made up for a lot 😉

That said, they do end on a sweet HEA note and I can’t wait to get to the next book, which should be Jet and Soren’s book…WOOT WOOT. I have a feeling that one is gonna be my fave of the series 😉

If you’re a fan of some snarky/fun gay romance, mixed with sports, you should definitely give this series a go.

I highly recommend it.

Massive world tours. Over a hundred million albums sold. Groupies galore.
Every day is a party for Viper and the guys of TBD, the biggest rock band in the world. But it all comes to a screeching halt when the lead singer walks out of the studio one day and never comes back.

Ear-blistering vocals. Butchered lyrics. Fame chasers.
After months of lackluster auditions, Viper, the lead guitarist and resident bad boy of the group, is ready to find solace in the bottom of a bottle. Time’s running out and the pressure’s on to find a new singer, but it isn’t until an angel walks through the door that the band’s prayers are answered.

Charismatic. Talented. Magic behind the mic. Halo is everything they’ve been looking for.
With a voice to match his stunning good looks, it isn’t long before Viper’s taking notice. But there are several reasons this is a bad idea:

1. Interpersonal relationships in the band are discouraged

2. Viper has already broken rule #1—big mistake

3. Halo is straight

Too bad Viper’s body isn’t listening to his head—at least not the one on his shoulders. But you can’t fake chemistry, not onstage and certainly not off it, and Viper and Halo? They have it in spades.

As both men try to resist the fire blazing between them, and the band is forced to reinvent themselves, it’ll be a complicated rise back to the top. But from the ashes of what was, something beautiful is born. Something better. And when the world finally sees Halo stretch his wings, they’ll discover what it’s like to fall for an angel.

This book came at a perfect time for me. It was exactly what I needed. I, like so many am a huge fan of the Temptation series and this book did kind of remind of Logan and Tate This time we get rockstars though, a trope I really love. We even get double the fun, because it’s two rockstars falling for each other !!

double the fun gif - Google zoeken

I started reading this book and I just couldn’t stop and put it down. I have zombie face right now because of it 😉

The writing style was just so pleasant and I fell in love with both MC’s the moment I met them. Not to mention the side characters who were pretty amazing as well.

Halo is auditioning for the role of lead singer, for a pretty famous rock band TBD. Their old lead singer just up and left, leaving the band in a tight spot (read A Little bit like Desire” )

Viper the lead guitarist knows he’s in the trouble the moment he sets his eyes on Halo. Viper is definitely a bit of a bad boy and I loved him all the more for it. He knows Halo is supposedly straight but that won’t stop him from pursuing the man. Viper isn’t one for hiding and sneaking around and so he is pretty straightforward and loud in his pursuit (constant flirting/innuendos).

come to the dark side gif - Google zoeken

One thing is for sure though…Viper is confusing the hell out of Halo. How can he be attracted to a man all of a sudden ??!! He is though, there is no denying the huge tent in his pants 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659

It takes a bit of time, but when these two get together, there are definite fireworks…yowza !!

This book doesn’t end on the major cliffy I was worried about. That said, I can’t wait to read the next one. This book was everything I needed at the moment and I hope time is gonna fly 😉

Highly recommended

First things first. This is a series of short books (around 100 pgs each) about the same awesome couple. These books can not be read as stand alone and they should be read in order, starting with the first book Will & Patrick Wake up Married. You can also binge read them in the Wake Up Married Serial 1-6.  I have read them all separately back to back…and damn, I’m gonna miss Will and Patrick….mostly Patrick 😉 Continue reading

Normally I write reviews for each book separately, but for this series, I have decided to write just one review for the whole series. This is not because I don’t think this series isn’t worth more reviews, because it surely is. It is actually one of my all-time favorite MM series. But it is also best to read it with as little spoilers as possible, and so I don’t want to ruin the experience for any reader, with my babbling. Just trust me when I say that it is absolutely awesome !!! Continue reading

This is my “go to” series for whenever I feel bad or need comfort, or when I am down deep in the “book-slump” pit from hell 😛  So I can honestly say that I read these books at least once a year…but often times..it’s more. I am that big a fan 😉 I’ve also been deeply in love with Jory since Sam found him laying on the street with a beagle on top of him 😛  Continue reading

The first time I read this book…which has been many times and years ago, I didn’t know what to think. I couldn’t stop my eyes from rolling at the OTT scenes that were happening, and I didn’t really know how I felt about Jory…who everyone seemed to fall in love with on the spot…or Sam Continue reading

This is the third book in this awesome series and just so you know, they can not be read as stand alones !! They need to be read in order, or you won’t know what the hell is going on.

Let me start by saying that I loved every single character in this book…even the ones I hated (I am looking at you John and Cillian ;p). Well maybe I didn’t really hate Cillian, but he did annoy the hell out of me in this one.  Continue reading

Before I start this review, can I just take a moment to appreciate this awesome cover !! One of the reasons I love it so very much, is because my husband has the same kind of tattoo on his back… gorgeous…sigh…

Anyways, this is the second book in this series about Tommy and Prophet and it can NOT be read as a stand-alone 😉

I absolutely loved this 4th book in the series and they seem to just get better and better with each book…..so I hope that there will be many more to follow.

I was very curious about this one, because it’s about Laurent and Isaac, and while I loved Isaac right from the start in book 3…I hated Laurent’s guts.
